Barcelona/Tarragona/Valencia FAST TRACK Yachtmasters explore The Bay of Rosas

The weather this week has been changeable in the Bay of Rosas, Northern Spain. With heavy Easterly swells and strong Northerly winds the sea state has been quite confused. Great Escape is sail training and putting the Yachtmaster candidates through some close quarter handling. Next week is larger Yacht experience and the Yachtmaster Candidates will be sailing aboard our 50 foot Beneteau South to Barcelona and Tarragona. The team onboard are also coming to terms with the amount of ongoing maintenance required to sail continuously. Everything from the heads, bilge pump repairs, engine servicing and sail repairs. If it breaks you are trained to fix it and keep the yacht moving. It's challenging and hard work and not everyone makes the grade, until the penny finally drops. This is one of the worlds most coveted Professional Sailing Qualifications and you have to earn it!

Our FAST TRACK Yachtmaster courses start every week in Barcelona and Gibraltar, in 14 weeks you cover at least 2500 miles visiting France, Spain, Balearic Islands (Mallorca, Minorca, Ibiza) Gibraltar, Morocco, Portugal and the Canary Islands.
