Our RYA/MCA Yachtmaster Fastrack candidates have been out on the water again this week, with RYA Assessments looming for two of the crew they have been focusing on Close Quarter Yacht Handling, and some Blind Navigation. The Instructor sends the lucky Skipper down below turns off the all to accurate GPS and sets the candidate a navigation task, usually into a port of refuge using a contour. More of the same throughout the week and then a passage to Menorca and Mallorca.
